Summer is a busy and exciting time at YWAM San Francisco. We need lots of additional hands and hearts to minister to all the wonderful people God entrusts to us. You can make a difference in the lives of children and youth this summer! Next SOS June 2-August 9, 2008 Two Options for Service Summer Day Camp: Help staff a summer day camp for at-risk youth in a low-income,ethnicly diverse neighborhood. First you will help plan and prepare for camp. Then you will staff camp for six fun-filled weeks of wacky games, creative crafts, exciting Bible stories and excellent adventures. These special kids need YOU to make their summer with Jesus unforgettable. Missions Adventures: This program gives youth a chance to experience missions first hand. They come from all over the USA with a heart and passion to share Jesus with the people of San Francisco and the world. While here, they minister to the hurting and the needy, all the time learning God's heart for people and the plans He has for them. In order for Mission Adventures to run, smoothly, we need YOU to come and help us facilitate the program. What's in it for me? SOS at YWAM SF offers adventure--a break from that same old work, eat and sleep summer. You'll meet hundreds of youth, get inner-city missions experience, have leadership training and so much more your head will spin! Just think, a whole summer of serving God and others, and having fun doing it! Dates/Schedule SOS runs every summer.
