Since the majority of our staff, students and outreach
teams are housed in the Tenderloin
Training and Outreach Center (TTOC)
we focus many efforts on serving the physical and spiritual needs
of the Tenderloin area. Quarterly we host neighborhood block
parties, and often, we hold Love Feast dinners. Much of our
ministry is done through servant and prayer evangelism.
We offer a daily program called ReachUp
where people from the neighborhood can apply to attend Monday through
Friday. Many of the clients are homeless and/or jobless. ReachUp
provides breakfast and lunch, showers, laundry and other basic services.
The focus is on personal and spiritual growth facilitated by prayer,
worship, bible study, teaching and discipleship.
HOT CHOCOLATE EVANGELISM: Every Friday night we minister
to the homeless on the streets in the Tenderloin, Polk Street and
Market Street areas. You are welcome to join us in bringing Hot
Chocolate, a listening ear and the Love of Christ out to the streets.
